We invite submissions on a broad range of topics related to the technology of esports and competitive gaming. These papers will be reviewed by the workshop organizers and invited reviewers if needed.

- Real-time rendering techniques for high frame rates (>240 Hz)
- Latency reduction techniques (e.g., NVIDIA Reflex, AMD Anti-Lag)
- Perceptually-based rendering and visual optimization for clarity
- Graphics for broadcast, spectating, and augmented reality overlays
- Novel display technologies for competitive environments
Systems and Performance
- Low-latency input processing stacks (OS, driver, and hardware levels)
- Network protocols and prediction models for competitive integrity
- Performance analysis, benchmarking, and optimization of game engines
- Hardware co-design for competitive gaming (CPUs, GPUs, peripherals)
- Matchmaking and netcode for low population or remote servers
Human Factors and HCI
- Psychophysical studies of latency, refresh rate, and motion blur perception
- UI/UX design for high-stakes, information-dense gameplay
- Player performance modeling, metrics, and data analytics
- Haptic feedback and alternative modalities for player input
- Accessibility in competitive gaming
- Spectator-facing UIs for tournaments or livestreaming
CSCW, Data, and AI
- Tools for collaborative team strategy and communication
- Data visualization for post-game analysis and coaching
- AI-driven coaching systems and training bots
- Computer vision techniques for game state analysis
- Methods for cheat detection and prevention
Submission Guidelines
This is a SIGGRAPH 2026 Technical Workshop following the “Workshop Sketches” format. We welcome novel research ideas and industry insights that advance our understanding of esports technology. All accepted papers will be published in the conference’s proceedings.
Formatting Requirements
- Page Length: 4-8 pages of single-column format (excluding references)
- Template: Use the ACM authoring template
- Format: Single-column PDF for review
- Review Process: Submissions reviewed using the TAPS system
- Double-blind review: Author names and affiliations must be removed
Submission Instructions
- Prepare your paper using the ACM authoring template
- Go to the submission portal
- Select “PRICE” from the track list on the submission page
- Submit your single-column PDF
Important: Make sure to select “PRICE” as your track when submitting.
Important Dates
Acceptance & Publication
Decision Notification: May 5, 2026
Final Upload to TAPS: Tuesday, May 19, 2026
Accepted submissions will be processed through the TAPS system for publication in the conference proceedings.
Presentation Requirements
In-Person Attendance Required: All accepted authors must present their work in-person at SIGGRAPH 2026 in Los Angeles (July 19-23, 2026) at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Virtual participation is not available.
Panel Participation: After presenting your sketch, you’ll participate in a panel discussion with other sketch authors to discuss research directions and ideas in esports technology.
